What I Do

Your ideas and ambitions are the starting point for every project. I bring my expertise and creativity to explore ideas, find unexpected solutions and create something that feels right for you and your home, while keeping what matters to you and your budget at the heart of the design.

If this is your first time renovating or extending your home, it can feel very confusing. Having an architect involved can make the process easier to navigate. I take care of the planning, regulations and technical side of the project, helping you understand your options and make the important decisions along the way.

Getting things right early on can save time, avoid unnecessary changes and prevent additional costs later in the project.

How I Can Help

Whether you're looking to extend or renovate your home, convert an attic or other underused space or develop a small commercial space, I can support you from the initial ideas through to the stages of the project you need.

Feasibility & initial ideas

Not sure what's possible? I can explore the potential of your property, looking at different options and helping you understand what could work before committing to a full design.

Design & concept development

This is where the creative thinking happens — exploring layouts, materials, light, views and connections to create a design that works for you and your home.

Planning

I can develop the design and manage the planning application, taking care of the drawings, documents and communication needed to move the project forward.

Technical design

Once the design is agreed, I can develop the details needed to make it buildable, including technical drawings and information for Building Regulations and your builder.

Construction

I can remain involved during construction, helping resolve design questions and making sure the project stays aligned with the design.

The Process

Every project is different, but having a clear process helps keep the project moving smoothly. I follow the RIBA Plan of Work, a standard framework used across the architecture and construction industry to guide the process from initial ideas through to completion. It gives you a clear understanding of what to expect and when, so you can make decisions with confidence as the project develops.

Not every project needs every stage. The scope is tailored to the project and agreed with you from the outset.
